Hurley Appointed Campus Safety Director

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ announces that Jeff Hurley has been appointed director of campus safety. Hurley began his duties at Park on April 19.

Howell Awards 2021

In celebration of the leadership achievements of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students, faculty and staff during the 2020-21 academic year, the Office of Student Life and the Park Student Government Association announced recipients of honors as part of the 26th annual Dr. Doris A. Howell Leadership Awards. The awards program, held virtually on April 14, is named for Howell, a 1944 Park graduate who was an internationally renowned leader in pediatrics and hospice care before passing away in November 2018.

FAA Drone Program

The Federal Aviation Administration has selected Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ to be a member institution of its Unmanned Aircraft Systems – Collegiate Training Initiative. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ is the first college/university in the State of Missouri to be a part of this program.

Kerr Appointed Senior Director of Military and Veteran Affairs

Black History Month Lecture 2021

A discussion surrounding the events of the Tulsa (Okla.) Race Massacre (also known as the Tulsa Race Riot) will be the topic addressed during Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµâ€™s 20th annual Spencer Cave Black History Month Lecture on Monday, Feb. 22. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held virtually at park.edu/spencercavelecture starting at 3 p.m.

Fall 2020 Graduates

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ announces its Fall 2020 graduates from the University’s flagship Parkville Campus, as well as the Downtown Kansas City (Mo.), Independence (Mo.) and Lenexa (Kan.) campuses. The list of graduates also includes fall online graduates worldwide and graduates from the University’s other campuses across the country not previously announced this year.
